Calamandrana belongs to the Alto Monferrato Astigiano, in a crossroads between Langa's territories. The northern part, crossed by the Belbo river mostly flat, while the southern part is dominated by hills, typical in the Langa area. The plain, with its farms, is the economic strength of the town, but it's on the hills that the tripper can find the best surprises: woods, hedges sheltering the wild fauna, torrents and valleys where the thick vegetation provides an uncontaminated landscape. The itineraries that the hills and the landscape of Calamandrana offer to the turists are numerous: the natural shape of its hills and the beauty of the surrounding landscape make all the itineraries attractive and discover the most hidden corners of Calamandrana.
