Truffle searching:

Know the truffle characteristics, its searching hystory and the traditions linked to its mysterious and particular world. At "La Casa Del Trifulau" you can try the emotion of "Andè per trifule" ("Going for truffle") taking part in the searching for truffles. With the Trifulau and his inseparable friends with unerring nose, Diana and Birba, you'll discover the most important secrets of the Piedmonteses Trifulaos, jealously handed down from father to son.

Visit program:

- Short explanations of the local traditions and the environment, overview of typical products: wines,cheeses and, of course, truffles varieties and characteristics

- Guided tour to the natural truffles grounds, experiencing a real "truffle picking" along a scenic trail with rest areas.

- Visit to the trifulau's house: picking items, furniture, images and memories of the past 

- Truffle tasting with local fine wines.

Visit length: 2-3 hours

Visit schedule

- September/December: Finest white truffle (Tuber magnatum Pico)

- January/March: Winter black truffle and "Bianchetto"

- May/November: Summer black truffle and trufle picking "by night"
